Items Arising from the Minutes:Special note was made was made of Jim MacDonald's heartfelt thank you for being able to participate in GRR weekly meetings via Zoom. Our older members feel the effects of the covid 19 shut down acutely, particularly if also dealing with other family health issues. As Dr. Bonnie Henry has noted many times " be kind, be calm, and be safe".
GRR item stored at Barry's – Trophies need to find a new home.
New location - Dave C. John F. and to check on computer cabinet, and find the shelving from the mezzanine. First in person meeting will probably be in Sept.
Treasurer: John Francis – no report
Sunshine: Art is now at home, Contact Sandy Raven to visit Art. A volunteer is needed to take over Sunshine from Fidele.
Membership: Barry F. - 3 prospective new members
Freshwater: Ron D.
Langford Lake: Barry F. Fri. - - landed 6 fish on a bunny leech. Dale – Fri.- landed 12 – arrived at 6:00 and leave by noon. Gord K. landed 6 including some larger 17-18 inch trout on a medium sink line and size 12 pumpkin head.
Prospect Lake: Barry – Mon. - landed 6 mostly 10-12 inch fish-Dale landed 12- including some larger 16- 17 inch fish. Winston- wed. out for 90min had good luck with black leech with a red hackle on a medium sink line.
Spectacle Lake: Winston. had success with a pumpkin head on a medium sink line-popular park with other users making access difficult
Elk Lake: Dennis G. – - lots of hits - surface active – wee tad plugs – June is good for catching large trout

Legacy Fund:Gillie Club: Dennis G. suggested that he might mentor new members who are not familiar with fly fishing .
Speakers Program: Bob C. Via Zoom no speakers till Sept.
Hatchery: Bill almost all of the fish have been released, this years fry have been ponded. Peninsula Streams – Millstream fish ladder –contract has been let, and paid for. Proposed adjunct environmental studies on hold because of covid related funding issues.
