Barry has found a new home for the remaining trophies left at his house.
New Business:Tony mentioned if you take your dog out to Elk lake beware of spear grass as one of his dogs needed to go to the Vet.
We received a request to mentor a young boy by a single mother. Barry will follow up
New Location: Subject to the Bonny Henry's guidelines we hope to be in the new facility in September.
Treasurer Report: Updated status of financial status.
Sunshine: We require someone to take over the sunshine position
Membership: We have three new prospects that have expressed an interest in joining.
Freshwater Fishing:Barry continues to have success on Prospect Lake but the size of the fish has become smaller.
Bob C did well in Elk lake catching 4 rainbows about 18 inches.
Mike told us a story of his continuous relationship with a large bass that he has now caught several times over the years.
Salt Water:Dennis advised that a couple of people had been out to Port Renfrew and caught a couple of small salmon but did well on halibut.
Peter and Bob C were out in middle bank off Oak Bay and caught plenty of unwanted dog fish.

Fly Tying: Dave Robertson fly tying lessons continue on Saturday morning at 10 am. Should you have a fly that you would like to see tied please let Dave know.
Speaker Program: If there you have any ideas on a speaker or would like to do a presentation to the club please let Bob C know.
Hatchery Program: Bill advised that there are still 92000 fish to clip. The hatchery is installing some 8, 12 foot diameter tanks they received from DFO
More people are starting to get back into volunteering.
Environment: Mick brought us up to date on a number of initiatives he is working on. Please see the links Mick has sent out. (BCWF has presented a request for 200-Million-dollar water protection fund, Existing dock at Elk lake we not be not this year, CRD need to put it into their planning cycle. April Mitchell replaces Jill Robertson while she is on leave. The work on the Elk lake oxygenation continues)
