MEMBERSHIP (JohnF): No changes.
TREASURER'S REPORT (JohnF): No report, expect April financials next week.
FUND RAISING:
1) Fly boxes John F. Selling well. JohnF to distribute status report via chat line this week
2) Thrifty Cards: In view of Thrift policy change, JohnF to prepare and distribute a proposal
VOLUNTEERING:
Goldstream Hatchery (BillT & TonyO): No change from last week, no problems, Maintenance under way
FRESHWATER FISHING REPORTS (DaveC):
· Prospect Lake Very active! Ryan caught 3 cutthroat trout to 13 Inches. Lots of hits missed. Barry and Dale went out twice and had lots of actions, but many hits missed. On second day Barry changed 8 lb tippet to 4 lb and had many fewer missed hits. Coincidence? Boated 15-20 fish, 12-14 inches. Barry trolling Tom Thumb fly. Dale caught a 16 to 17 inch trout. Sandy and Lev had a good day. Lev boated 10 fish and kept 4 to smoke.
· Sandy Mc immediately left the meeting to go fishing
· Durrance Lake Winston out on Thursday fishing mostly a Pumpkin. Boated 4 in an hour. Had fewer missed hits after sharpening hooks. Tony caught 3 rainbows in an hour. Barry saw the lake being stocked. Colin had a good time catching fish on pumpkin.

· Elk Lake None this week
SALTWATER FISHING REPORTS:
· Nobody has been out yet again due to catch and release only regulation for salmon
CONSERVATION (MickC):
· Elk Lake Dock: The application for $90,000 funding from DFO is 80% complete. Has had good help from Wendy Fleming in Calgary preparing report. We will pay her an honorarium ($200 from Elk Dock Acct). Report to be submitted near end of May. Rotary club is preparing an application to BC Gaming for a similar amount.
· Fish counting fence camera project: WFT preparing the final application. We have reserved $1,000 from Legacy if necessary.
· Mountain Road Property Acquisition: Money is now committed.
· McKenzie Highway Interchange Restoration now available for viewing. Take road just south of interchange on Admirals to park.
· HandyDART Development near Cuthbert Holmes Park: Mick coordinating various agencies to ensure a proper plan includes measure for salmon.

NEW BUSINESS: Jim Macdonald offered to write a letter for Dave's approval thanking the crew who cleaned up Durrance Lake on land and underwater.

SPEAKER PROGRAM (BobC): If anyone wants to volunteer to give a talk, or suggest an internet video to watch, advise Bob so he can schedule it.
