Legacy Fund: $1000.00 approved for WFT. Require approval for Coastal Collaboration - $1000.00 PSS - $1000.00 and Sooke Net Pens $1000.00 Sandy and Barry to meet to discuss and bring recommendations to General Meeting
Gillie Club: Dennis – Cluxewe List, 9 units, 17 people. Call Dennis if you need help booking.
Buttle Lake is last week in May, first week in June.
Speakers Program:
Fund Raising: Jim Macdonald suggested looking at different revenue services: Bottle drive at bottle depots.
Hatchery/Fence: - Snow fall closed access to Hatchery for 1 day. Water temp during snow was .6 C, fry were not feeding. Water temp has increased, and fry are feeding well, preparing to go to the ocean. The heavy rains have affected the new reds, eggs, and fry in the different water sheds. Reports will be forthcoming. Chum returns were dismal throughout the entire west coast. Coho returns were high this year and we have upward to 190,000 eggs.
Environment: Mick – PSS, BEACH projects have continued funding. Elk Lake Report has been sent out. Oxygenation of Elk/Beaver Lake is still going ahead. PSS has membership drive, go to PSS Website to join.

New Business: Esquimalt Club as new meeting site. Have 2-4 meetings there, before committing to this location.

Speaker: Michael Corry – Scuds - arthropod (called freshwater shrimp, note not really shrimp) this has several different types of legs. Forest Lake is trophy lake. Dragonfly nymph. Parasitic Molting Scud Fly Pattern, note blue colour is good.
