New Associate Member Ron King was recognised and gave brief outline of his commercial fishing background and new charter fishing club he is starting
Minutes of Last Meeting: Moved, Seconded and Adopted.
Items Arising from the Minutes: None
Treasurer: John F. Reviewed the financial statement for February.
Sunshine: Peter P had an operation.
Social: Bob – St Patrick's Day social and Clubhouse Grand Opening announced for next week. Wait for email description.
Membership: New Associate Member Ron King was recognised and gave brief outline of his commercial fishing background and new charter fishing club he is starting. The Treasurer announced that 12 people had not yet paid their dues.
Fresh Water:
Dale landed 28 fish in one outing. He also went to Prospect L and noted many Choronomids on the surface. Caught just a few fish that day. Also went to Durrance L and had some luck with bunny hair leech. He said the Lake looked very fishable.
Ken went to Elk Lake fishing off the dock. He saw or heard of a 5, an 8, and a 12lb trout caught using salmon eggs!

Salt Water:
Bob C went out to near cruise ship dock and caught a salmon. He heard Constance Bank is fishing well.
Fly Tying:
Dave R will be tying a Zonker next Saturday on Zoom. Florin also tying something.
ACS: No meeting this month
Library:
Legacy Fund: $1000 pre-approved for WFT. Require approval for Coastal Collaboration - $1000, PSS - $1000. Sooke Net Pen (SVIAC) received $1000 Legacy Fund grant.
IT/Audio/Video Equipment: Some more gear will be acquired in next week for a better combined Zoom/In-Person meeting experience. Cost around $200.
Gillie Club: No report this week.
Trips
Dennis—Buttle Lake Trip starts 19 May. You can book on 19 March.
