Meeting Minutes, (14, 01, 2020)

Place: Silver Threads Centre, 2340 Richmond Rd, Victoria, BC

Chaired By: Dave Cooke

Secretary: Christopher Wade

Called to Order: 9:30 AM

Members Attending: 25, 1 visitor Dirk

Minutes of Last Meeting: Adopted as distributed, Moved by Wynn B. seconded by Sandy M.

Items Arising from the Minutes:
1: Executive Committee voted to donate $100.00 to bring the total to $ 315 plus food donations. Ron D. to deliver a cheque and the food to the Mustard Seed.

Treasurer: John Francis absent (weather)

Sunshine: Fidel absent (weather)

Social: Sandy R. absent (weather), calender to be presented next meeting

Membership:

Freshwater: Ron D. Suggested that Spectacle Lake might be suitable for ice fishing. Recommended a forum at flybc.ca for those thinking of trips to interior lakes.

Salt Water: Ryan, not much action too windy

Fly Tying: Dave Robinson, GRR at John P.'s 10:00 am Jan. 18, 2020 Prince Nymph

Library: Colin is away talk to Ryan to access library

2:Legacy Committee to review funding requests(av.$1000-2000) for projects ie pechi ,millstream,fishing docks
3:Elk Lake Watershed Management Plan (what is coming off the land into the lake) public docment in a few weeks.
4:GWI to review new Transit Yard near Craigflower Creek
