LOCATION: 50km NE of Merritt past Nicola Lake (last 8km gravel/logging trucks), 1152m elevation.

FACILITIES:

• BC Recreation Site (thus can't pre-book) on N shore with 28 campsites (no water, 5 pit toilets), 2 Boat Launches, Tables, kids play area.

JUNE 2020 GRR FISHOUT

Starting May 31, 2010 as BC Govt Recreation Sites opened for Camping, GRR Fishout at Peter Hope Lake began. Attendees from GRR were Sandy McElroy, Ron Duncan, and John Pierce, other attendees were Toby McElroy and Sean.

Fishing was OK, not great as in previous years as ~2 weeks later than normal. Weather averaged highs go 18C and lows or 5C, abnormally low for time of year.

Sandy & Ron continued to Community Lake north of Kamloops.
