SUNSHINE REPORT (WendyG & PatP): Discussion.

TREASURER'S REPORT (JohnF): No report.

FUND RAISING: Auction of 24 lots of fishing gear/material at BarryF closed, total top bids were $426 on 23 lots, proceeding to inform winners and collect proceeds and hand out lots at BarryF home. Proceeds to GRR Legacy Fund, DaveC to inform donators of results and thanks.

SOCIAL (BobC & BillT): No event update waiting for Govt Covid updates. BobC to canvass club for Zoom Happy Hour meeting.

FRESHWATER FISHING REPORTS (RonD):
1) No reports.

SALTWATER FISHING REPORTS:
1) No reports, winds high.

CONSERVATION REPORT (MickC):
1) Elk Lake Dock Replacement: Meetings ongoing, decided not to apply for early March Fed Govt funding cutoff, will apply to second round, scheduled to present to Saanich Rotary on Mar 29.

VOLUNTEERING (BillT):
1) BillT: Hatchery, no significant news, one female Coho in tank died, kept eggs separate, still hatched >60% showing egg resilience. Overall egg hatch in >90%, released 130,000 Chum this year todate, Coho still to go.
2) BillT: PSS auction of 100 lots to start soon including 3 Fly Boxes from GRR.

AMALGAMATED CONSERVATION SOCIETY (BillT): No meeting.

FLY TYING MEETING (DaveR): Next Saturday DaveR will demo Evil Weavil wet fly mostly for flowing water below indicator (Note: Strike Indicators are not legal on Fly - Fishing Only section of Cowichan River), and FlorinS will demo Peter Ross wet fly for Searun Cutthroat.

LIBRARY REPORT (ColinC): No movement on books.

GILLIE REPORT (DennisG):
1) Collecting lead for fund raising, received 20 lb from member BarryF.
2) No updates from Cluxuwe, Buttle Lake booking may start Mar 1, will send out Chat email.

SPEAKER PROGRAM (BobC): See website Calendar for events, today Cheryl Alexander on Discovery Island's loan Wolf. Mar 9, "Boosting Brain Power".

LEGACY FUND (BarryF): Member MickC sent application form for $1000 donation towards Colquitz Camera funding to Executive, to be approved at Mar 2 Monthly Exec Meeting.

WEBSITE (JohnP): Uploaded last Saturday's Fly Tying video to our GRR YouTube Channel.

NEW BUSINESS:
1) DaveC passed subject of new club options/stickers costs to JohnF.
2) JimM proposed motion that President send letter to CRD opposing CRD Park proposed Parking Fees, Approved.
