TREASURER'S REPORT (JohnF): Nothing to report..

SUNSHINE REPORT (WendyG & PatP): Discussion.

SOCIAL (BillT & BobC): August Corn Roast scheduled for Aug 19, 2021, evaluating Tulista Park, Sidney or Dominion Brook Park, Saanich which is reservable via North Saanich Municipality.

VOLUNTEERING (BillT & TonyO):
1) Goldstream Hatchery: New tank farm commissioning ongoing.
2) Sooke Net Pen: Released 635k Chinook.
3) West Coast Fly Fishing: First Zoom meeting this week, followed by face-2-face meetings.

MEMBERSHIP (JohnF): No report.

FUND RAISING:
1) GRR branded fly boxes still available, contact JohnF.
2) JimM: Two location based fly boxes Auction from 6 donators, now closed, 6 people bid, raised $155. Will redo in fall, maybe including dry flies.
3) Thrifty Cards: JohnF to re-contact Thrifty's and email out proposal.

FLY TYING MEETING (DaveR): Next Saturday DaveR will demo simple No-Brainer & The-Usual flies & DaveC to demo.

FRESHWATER FISHING REPORTS (RonD):
1) Prospect Lake: BrianP last Thursday's few hits.

SALTWATER FISHING REPORTS:
1) RyanA: Caught few Coho's.

CONSERVATION REPORTS (MickC):
1) Elk Lake Dock Replacement: Submitted 76 page application last Wed for $95k in federal Funding (includes 6 letters of support, design package Dirk, and photos SandyM) towards total of $250k cost estimate.
2) Salmon Safe Certification: Working with mainland staff to possibly extend certification into southern Van Isle.
3) World Fisheries Trust/Peninsula Stream: Summer Interns work ongoing, possibly fall presentation on what achieved.

LIBRARY REPORT (ColinC): Finally lent out a book!

GILLIE REPORT (DennisG): No report.

AMALGAMATED CONSERVATION SOCIETY (BillT): No report.

WEBSITE (JohnP): Added weekly Fly Tying video.

LEGACY FUND (BarryF): No requests.

NEW BUSINESS: BobC - Excellent article on catch-release trout in Saturday paper with pros-and-cons, article was forwarded by RonE, several minutes of discussion.
