Minutes of Last Meeting:  Accepted by Barry seconded by Brian

Items Arising from the Minutes:  Correction noted on herring kill at Parksville by Herring Seiner not DFO as previously noted. Barry has enough flies and boxes for BCWF fund raiser

Treasurer: Sandy Raven: Books to be done this week and given over to new secretary Sandy

Sunshine: Wendy Gedney. Christopher Wade and Brian Canfield maintaining current health progress. Mike Wallace father Ray passed recently and now Mother has passed condolence card to be sent.

Social: Bob and Bill: Mike : 14 people attended, good food, this will be an annual event. Those in attendance: Mike Galbraith, John and Laura Pierce, John Francis, Dave and Julia Robinson, Mohamed Docat & guest. Bill and Helen Thomas, Sandy Raven, Brian and Pat, Ken Evans, Sven Erik Jansson.

Membership: Grant McKenzie, new member. Long time fisher person, wants to learn more about flyfishing.

Fresh Water: No Report

Salt Water: Sooke and Beecher Bay slow. Good fishing off waterfront, Spoons and Hootchy from Fleming beach to Albert Head. Robinson's fly shop had a Fly-tying demo on flies for sea run cutthroat trout. Trout stay close to shore. See Miyazaki demo on YouTube for fly tying demo on Cutthroat Flies.
 
Fish outs: Fish out once a week. WCFF Cutthroat trout fish out at San Yuan River. Go to their website for more info.

Fly Tying:  Ray Wallace fly and scuds. Starts at 9:00 coffee demo 10:00am

Hatchery: Feeding fry, delivering eggs to schools. 26th March BCWF region one AGM, location to be announced

New Business: Outdoor show suggestions for our booth: fly tying demo. Pictures on computer of past events {Sandy} banners, Flymo rod for fly casting demo. Old fishing reels {Peetz} and tackle. Fly vises set up for kids.
Logo stickers are in the cabinet, help yourself. Place them on your car windshield. Suggested lapel pin for advertising. Executive Meeting Feb 14. Fly casting seminar in April.
