Executive Meeting Minutes (6 March 2018)

Meeting Opened 10:30 AM

Attendance: Mick, John Francis, Ron, Brian, John Pierce, Dennis, Rob, Bill

Clive Memorial Suggestions:

• a bench at the Millstream fishway project, with plaques for Bill Cairnes and Clive.
• a Bench with a number of plaques for previous notable members at the fishing dock at Elk Lake.
• take on a new project to expand and improve shore fishing access at the existing dock or elsewhere at Elk Lake.

Ensure Peninsula Streams monies tied to Clive and Bill. Mick to talk to Brian (Peninsula Streams) on 20 March.

Job Descriptions: John Francis and John Pierce have completed.

Roger has volunteered to manage distribution of the new rack cards.

Research Funds: Mick will contact Camosun to discuss a second year of awards to Camosun environmental tech students.

BCWF AGM Region 1 – donate box of flies for BCWF to auction at the meeting as a fundraiser. Courtenay – 16-18 Mar

Garage Sale – Silver Threads Sat 21 Apr Noon to 4pm

May 15 meeting will be cancelled because of Buttle Lake trip.
