TREASURER'S REPORT (JohnF): No update.

SUNSHINE REPORT (WendyG & PatP): Discussion, sent one Get Well Card.

SOCIAL (BillT & BobC): Nothing planned.

MEMBERSHIP (JohnF): No changes.

FLY TYING MEETING (DaveR): Next Saturday will demo salt water shrimp pattern.

VOLUNTEERING (BillT & TonyO):
PSS: BrianP & BillT took shore samples for forage fish egg research.

FRESHWATER FISHING REPORTS (RonD):
1) Prospect Lake: BrianP & DaveC out couple times, minimal trout, ColinC several hits, landed a 2# trout. TonyO several trout in afternoon with sink tip + 12ft T12 to get deep, all in small area at SE end.
2) Durrance Lake: BillT fishing Monday.
3) RonE & SandyM: At Peter Hope Lake, lots of 12-16" trout, some days weather cool, 2pm flying ants and mayfly hatch, landing small trout on dry flies, abnormally damsel flies not out, also fishing Chironomid. Moving to Community Lake in 3 days.

SALTWATER FISHING REPORTS:
1) None.

CONSERVATION (MickC):
1) Elk Lake Dock Replacement: Received two letters of support from Govt.
1) Elk Lake: Received surveillance data from CRD, will use for benchmarking going forward.

UPCOMING FISHOUTS:
1) John to Rathtrevor on Wed-Sat for crabbing et al.

LIBRARY REPORT (ColinC): No update.

FUND RAISING: Two location based fly boxes still on Auction.

GILLIE REPORT (DennisG): No report.

AMALGAMATED CONSERVATION SOCIETY (BillT): Updates sent out in Email.

WEBSITE (JohnP): Added weekly Fly Tying video.

LEGACY FUND (BarryF): No requests.

NEW BUSINESS:
1) Letter to BC Premier against virgin forest logging built and shipped.
2) Silver Threads' Tracy now says GRR might be able to use downtown Facility in September, agreed to check with Silver Thread @ Tillicum. Discussed if meet in person, also continue Zoom as hybrid model. DaveC to follow up.
3) Discussion on if move Fly Tying to in-person and Zoom.
4) Summer, agreed to have informal non-minuted meetings for July-Aug and first week Sep, regular weekly to resume Sep 14, 2021, possible in-person and zoom.

SPEAKER PROGRAM: None, anyone can speak. MikeC gave 5 min talk on Poett Nook and salmon fishing at Fatty Basin where DFO did very interest study in 1980's (as banks on each side) and put in east coast Lobster to see if they would breed, with minimal escape. Bred and declared success and stopped as up to business to further. On announce of study shut down, scuba divers stopped up the Lobster, business did not proceed as Octopus will eat them.
