FLY FISING - STRIKE INDICTORS

GENERAL

• Basically a high tech mini bobber, mini as need to cast on leader or tippet.
• Strike Detector when using long leader
• Most popular is 1/2" West Water's Thingamabobber, but overtaken by Air-Lock with nut as doesn't kink line.

THINGAMABOBBERS
DESCRIPTION: Small highly visible ultra sensitive plastic ball with hoop to slip over line and optional Jam Stop to stop sliding.
METHOD: Thread line or fly leader through loop of loop through and pull tight against end of hoop, insert Jam Stop in smaller flush side insert for best fit. If no Jam Stop then can use wooden cocktail stick (cut off excess). Adjust depth of bait as required.
