MILLSTREAM CREEK

GENERAL

  • Creek starts in the hills of the Gowlland Tod range, flows south into Third Lake then parallels Millstream Rd. for several kilometres, winds winds through residential neighbourhoods in the Thetis Heights area, down east side of Millstream Road shopping area (Costco/Home Depot etc), under the Trans-Canada Highway, behind Elements Casino to an estuary in Esquimalt Harbour.
  • Estuary access on SW corner of Old Island Highway bridge to SW of 6-Mile Pub, parking for couple cars in corner and climb down gravel to creek, under bridge to saltwater side.
  • Peninsula Streams has large fish ladder project where Millstream goes under Atkins Road through large culvert.
HISTORY
20190920 Report that Coho already heading up Millstream Creek (from camera), earlier than normal, maybe as large run?
