10 MILE POINT

GENERAL

• WHERE: Popular spot for shore casting from very craggy rocks at 10 Mile Point Dive Site.
• PARKING: 5 spots at end of road, 4hr limit, other spots further back on streets.
• FISHING: Hit and miss but the water is quite deep and fast where it pushes past and you can get the odd coho swing by there a little later on. Some very big non-salmonids swing past that point from time to time. Sandy bottom in some places but lots of snags on the retrieve if you're not careful.

HISTORY
20210808 JohnP jigged 2 hours with large buzz-bomb at low slack tide, one other fisher, no strike. 3 passing sea-lions headed south.
