Minutes of Last Meeting:  On a motion by Barry F, seconded by Dale minutes approved as presented. CARRIED

Treasurer: John F.  NOTE: Treasurer Report next week. Our computer is irreparable. Mick will get 2nd opinion on computer.
Looking at using Ipad for meetings.
 
Sunshine: Nil
 
Social: Bob and Bill: working on Goldstream November outing.

Fresh Water:  Winston – Langford Lake deep 5 hits. Durrance Lake, no hits.
 
Salt Water: Bob C and Peter: Limit of Coho: 5-10 lbs, at 400 – 500 feet on White Hoochee last week.
-       No one fished Billings Spit
 
 
Fly Tying: next week, Coho Bucktails
 
Hatchery –
- there is a pit tag array in Goldstream.
- Chum in Goldstream, very early
- Clipping has begun, GRR clipping on Monday, 17 Oct
- Telus donating video, cameras, alarm and software to Hatchery
 
PSS – Bill – continuing restoration
BCWF – 11 Dec 2022, General Meeting at VFGPA

Speakers Program: Sandy will do photo talk on Africa and other club speakers lined up.
 
Fund Raising:
 
Environment: Mick – Regionally, there is better counting and care throughout from Goldstream to Sooke. Some hope for the future with involvement of Corporations and Conservation groups.
BCWF is giving $5000 for water quality project in Elk Lake.  $1000 from Rotary to support Elk Lake fishing dock. Fishing Dock pictures on our website. Thanked community partners. We contributed to Herring study.
Mick would like to have an Understudy for this year!
