Motion to accept the minutes last meeting: Moved by Barry and Colin. Correction in last months minutes: The opening for booking reservations at Cluxue campground is Jan 10.

Items Arising from the Minutes:
1) Gear sale next meeting Jan. 16th. We will need two people to show up at 9:00 am to help set up the tables. Please go through all your fishing and anything you no longer want or need donate to the sale. All these proceeds will go to the club. Proceeds from Ron Duncan's fly fishing gear will be divided 50-50 with the club.
2) Saturday, January 20th. The sale will be open to the public. Contact Sandy McElroys. sandy.mcelroy@shaw.ca if you can volunteer to help with the sale on Saturday.
3) Kemp Lake FishOut on hold until weather improves.
4) Fly Swap is proceeding. Dave Robinson will be sending out more information.

Treasurer Dandy Raven: Financial # for December were sent out were sent out on chatline. Use your Fairway cards. $500 was raised last year

Sunshine Wendy Gedney: If you know of any club member who is sick or lost a loved one let Wendy or the club president know.

Social Bob, Mike:
1) 38 people at Christmas dinner. Big thank you to Sandy Raven for the wonderful place settings that she made. Ian Cameron Barry and Lyle Freeman for all their work in setting up and taking down. Thanks to all who brought a wonderful array of food items.
2) Chinese New Year Dinner on 9th February. Same location as last year.
3) April we will be attending the Outdoor Show.

Membership: Club pins available $10.00.

Fresh Water Dale Scheel:
1) See Dale for local lake fishing advice. Dale was at Prospect Lake during the holidays lots of fish rising at south end. All big fish were caught, 15" to 18".
2) Durrance Lake caught fish on downriggers right now fish close to the bottom. Tom Thumb fly, Tiger Barred Leach, Booby Tip.
3) Dales Four pillars of fishing wisdom: Depth, colour, speed & water temp. If you are catching fish all is well. If not try adjusting your speed. Troll fast and change your lures.

Salt Water: Nothing going on. Poor weather and lack of fish.

FishOuts: Jan 17th weather dependent.

Fly Tying: Fly swap this Saturday. Fly tying is on at usual time on Zoom 9:00 am chat. 10:00 fly tying.

Speakers Program Lyle Freeman: Have set up four topics on Salmon planning and regulations by mid April.[1] Marine mammal protection,[2] shell fish opportunities [.3 [4]Habitat protection. Any suggestions speakers on any topic please contact Lyle.

Fund Raising:

Environment: Fish finder showed bubbles off fishing dock. Presumed to be decomposing material.

New Business:
1) Sale is next week, Saturday 9:00 till 12:00 noon. Bring any gear in that you can donate to the club and it will be sold on behalf of the club. Volunteers to show up at 9:00 am to help set up. Also help needed on following Saturday to set up for general public.
2) Cluxue booking tomorrow, put in several choices. See Dennis for any information.
