Items Arising from the Minutes: Fin clipping this Thursday meet at the gate at 11:00am. Soup will be provided come out and see how the hatchery works. We finish at 3:00 pm.

Treasurer: Fairway community card 5% return on grocery expenses. See Sandy Raven for information.

Sunshine: Wendy Gedney - Christopher Wade's health has stabilised, card to be sent   

Social: Bob, Mike no report.

Membership: 

Fresh Water:  Pierre Malo - Elk lake cold water. One bite but lost the fish, Fishing is dead slow.

Salt Water: Fishing slow. Bad weather. Fish close to bottom where the bait fish are.

FishOuts: Feb 27th Prospect Lake.

Fly Tying: Basic pattern. Hares ear nymph. 10:00am start.

Hatchery: Eggs turning into Alvin. Shocking some fish. Ponding will happen in three weeks.

Gillie Club: Book camping spots as soon as possible. A lot of people are cancelling their trips to the U.S.
   
Speakers Program:
1) March 4th Lyall will talk on herring. Lyall attended a conference on the Herring Stocks.
2) Dale gave a very informative and entertaining talk on fishing and fisherman with a great slide show of his fishing trip to Alabama.

Environment:  Mick - Craigflower creek restoration work funding. Gorge water reaction committee. Esq anglers have been working on Craigflower foir 18 years look at emails that Mick has sent out for more information. Mick will give report on Gorge Water Way meeting being held at the Gorge Pavilion.

New Business:
1) Executive meeting - Looking for someone to store fishing equipment. Bob will store it.
2) Swap meet. At Ogden Point. Ian will get more info.
3) May 3rd. Sidney Anglers sale at Mary Winspear. Norman can get us 9 by 13ft space at no cost.
4) It was decided not to have a presale for club members. Sandy and Dave have volunteered to price items.
5) Feb 23 - March 2 Regatta at Elk Lake.
6) Peter will loan out a spay rod to anyone and Dave will give some instruction.
