MATERIAL

• Hook #8 All round
• Articulated shanks - #8 streamer, hooks cut off
• Thread UTC 140
• Flash – Flashabou
• Bunny hair strips

COMMENTS

• Fly can be tied as single hook fly with or without trailer hook. This is photo Part 1 below. The articulated version simply has a rabbit strip shank in front.
• Tie on trailer hook (use 10# braid or mono) braid will be 1 inch long from shank to trailer hook, add 5 strands flash (your choice) doubled over, tie in strip at back of shank, wrap strip to eye of hook (shank).
• For front hook (shank) tie photo Part 1 to Part 2 using braid and small bead. Add short strips of flash and wrap with rabbit strips.
• I have had the best luck with 2 tone flys – white/chartreuse, tiger/chartreuse, light brown/dark brown and all black.  Some days, mono colours work better.
• Troll at 1.5 mph.
• Don't forget to cut off the hook portion of the shanks.
