Trout Hatchery: 14 in attendance, everyone enjoyed it. Good to see a keen administrator. Good tour. They had Rainbow and cutthroat trout. Late this year for release of fish. Water supply is by three wells.
Dave was at regional BCWF regional meeting. 50% of the conversation was on fishing subjects. Sea lions and seals are taking more fish than the commercial fishery. They follow the fish on their spawning route. We need to develop a food for a commercial fishery for culling seals and Sea lions. How about Seal Burgers? There is a published report that is academically accepted. Dave mentioned the importance of having representation at these meetings. Dave reported on the boat launch at Prospect Lake.
