Hatchery: 130,000 Coho eggs. Poor return for Chum eggs. Other streams have had good coho runs. Huge Pink runs this year. Some were seen in Goldstream. Ind. Coho eggs from Shawnigan and Goldstream are different at first but after 2 weeks look the same. Not enough Chum eggs for local streams. Peninsula Streams are currently trying to restock Millstream and a stream on Saturna  Island with Coho.

PSS: 2, Pit tags at hatchery. i Dozen slipped out and two mortalities. These fish are going into the Millstream in December. The More time they are  in the stream  they will climatize  and make the Millstream their native stream. No returning fish so far have been spotted.

They have come up with biologically safe sunscreen to use. Looking at reducing the number of tubers on the river. Cowichan club hires divers to retrieve drink cans. Asian Carp spotted on lakes. Questions about where they are coming from. More education on invasive fish necessary. Ask that a fresh water app on phone for freshwater B.C. for all regulations. A report on salt water fishing.
