Business Arising

All Executive Job Descriptions are in.

New Executive Positions for 2019 are filled.

Art has contacted James Bay Anglers, no report at this time.

Fishing topics for Meeting are complete to Feb. Rob Comerford has now taken over this job.

Exceptional Service Webpage is still under discussion.

$500.00 donation to Omega Pacific Hatchery has been put on hold.

Dennis reported no interest shown at this time for Building GRR Clubhouse.

Christmas Lunch at Finns on 11 Dec at 11:30. Book reservations through Sandy or Solange.

New Business

Smile Card – Will be discussed during Budget

Elk Lake Users Group Meeting A meeting of this group is to be held on 21 Nov, Rob will report. The Rowing Proposal is on agenda for discussion.

By-Laws – To be sent to John P for publish on Website.

Sandy - would like to step down as VP, but will continue if no one else is available.

Art – Reported that lots of eggs are being taken at Goldsteam Hatchery this year.

Sandy R –Everyone is encouraged to arrive early to assist set up of Soup and Hot Dog Outing on Thursday.

Ron – Presentation on Fishing Equip from Nepal – Dubbing Brush and technique

Brian – attend ACS (Amalgamated Conservation Society) 7:30 PM
Discussion on fishing different areas: Cranbrook – new fishing Peter Hope interior
Main Land Fishing – Sandy will look into it
Destination fishing expedition speaker, club trip (Travel Agent)

Bob – It was suggested more varied topics for speakers (will look into it).

Keith – fish Trestle (salmon, trout)

Dennis – Library – concern about securing Books. Put cabinet in back room for book storage. Get Stamp for Library (Property of GRR). A Work Party to move equip up Stairs is required.

It was suggested to have 1 meeting a month in the evening or a weekend to accommodate non-retired members.

Rob – Maltby Lake to organize fishout for Spring
