SOOKE - DISTRICT BOAT LAUNCH WHARF & PIER
LOCATION: 6933 West Coast Trail, parking lot, ticket machine for boat launch/parking.
WHARF: West side of boat launch for boat staging, with larger area at end.
PIER: 15m west of wharf, for fishing and crabbing?

SOOKE - FEDERAL BOAT LAUNCH WHARF & PIER
LOCATION: Park lot off SE end of Maple Avenue South across street from Wild Mountain Food & Drink.
WHARF: SW side of boat launch, for staging boat.
PIER: Big on NE side, has Harbour Authority office.

SOOKE - ROTARY PIER BOARDWALK
LOCATION: Sooke Harbour.
PARKING: Parking lot at Rotary Park.
ACCESS: From parking lot, walk down hill path and steps down to crabbing and prawning boardwalk about 25 meters from the shore.
20191122 TommyW, BrianP & JohnP throws in two pots at 2:30pm, retrieves at 4:45pm, lots small all Red Rock crabs, only one oversize Red Rock male and it had only one claw, put all back, no sign of seal.

SOOKE RIVER ESTUARY FLATS
LOCATION: Large flats south of Sooke River.
ACCESS: Billings Spit to east side or Oyster Farm for west side of flats.
20200423 JohnP goes dip net crabbing with tennis racket net at bottom of low tide, medium wind disturbs water making hard to see, finds no dungeness.
201908 JohnP and WKChan see several large Dungeness when fishing in waders as tide coming in, would be easy to dip net.
