CONVENED: 9:30 am.

MEMBERSHIP (JohnF): All paid dues except 3 previous Members, 49 Members todate.

SUNSHINE REPORT (Wendy Gedney & Pat Psaila): No report, Jim McDonald thanked us for the lovely personalized sympathy card Pat made & mailed.

TREASURER'S REPORT (JohnF): No report.

FUND RAISING:
1) Elk Lake Fishing Dock (SandyM): Discussed at Executive meeting, agreed don't have expertise/experience to take lead role. Discussed and agreed with Associate Member Dirk.
2) Auction (JohnP): Donated Orvis Rod and Reel auction closed, winner is Brian Canfield at $200.
3) Thrifty Account: Agreed to move funds every 6 months (year is Apr-Mar).

ELK LAKE FUND: SandyM proposed to disburse up to $500 from Elk Lake Fund to Dirk for replacement fishing dock seed money, approved.

SOCIAL (BillT & BobC):
1) Planning two possible events: January 2021 tour of Atkins Fishway, March Fishout with Hotdogs.
2) Will discuss Zoom Party for January.

FRESHWATER FISHING REPORTS (RonD): No report. Cowichan River very high.

SALTWATER FISHING REPORTS:
1) BobM: Report from RyanA that not out due to small boat - large waves.
2) RonD: Video from GTD showing humpback breach behind boat.

VOLUNTEERING (BillT):
1) BillT: Hatchery quiet.

AMALGAMATED CONSERVATION SOCIETY (BrianP): No meeting this month.

CONSERVATION REPORT (MickC): No significant issue.

FLY TYING MEETING (DaveR): Next Saturday, Tools & Christmas Flies. Dennis to demo more Cluxuwe flies in new year starting Jan 9, 2021.

SPEAKER PROGRAM (BobC): Today Jamie Night on Detecting Dementia Early.

LEGACY FUND (BarryF): Nothing new to report.

WEBSITE (JohnP): No update.

GILLIE REPORT (DennisG): Happy to support via Zoom.

LIBRARY REPORT (ColinC): No update.

NEW BUSINESS:
1) JohnF: Received email from St Michaels School & Montessori requesting support for summer kids for paid Fly Fishing instructor. Decline and recommend IanMuirhead@shaw. ca.
